The MDO (Machine Direction Orientation) Nip Roller is a critical component in BOPET film production lines, where cast film is stretched in the machine direction through a three-step process.

Production Process Overview

Preheating: Film passes through preheat rolls to acquire stretchable properties with controlled heat application
Stretching: Film undergoes stretching via specialized rolls (smaller than preheat/annealing rolls) with nip rollers acting on stretching rolls
Annealing: Final temperature application minimizes film relaxation for optimal product characteristics
