The Thermo Calender Roll shell is manufactured from chilled cast iron, featuring peripherally drilled longitudinal holes to the surface for heat transfer oil circulation. The roll journals are constructed from steel and bolted to the roll shell, with conical mating surfaces for roller bearings and oil channels for pressurized bearing dismounting. The system maintains a roll surface temperature difference of ≤±2℃.
